One of the jury members, Magnus Uggla (left), presents the award to ICA Gruppen's CFO Sven Lindskog.
The prize motivation behind ICA Gruppen’s win is:
"In recent years, ICA has shown a clear degree of responsiveness to the outside world's expectations of its reporting. ICA integrates sustainability issues with the strategy, choice of priorities, business model, goals and follow-up.
ICA also touches upon the consequences for the business of societal changes such as urbanization, changing consumption patterns, digitalization and diversity.
Overall, ICA has succeeded in meeting the jury's requirements as well as the competition's overall assessment bases - clarity about value creation, comprehension and completeness."
- It is gratifying that the jury believes we are going through the issues in a very serious manner. This encourages us to continue to sharpen our reporting, says Sven Lindskog, CFO.
The jury is Sussi Kvart, Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall, Magnus Uggla and Lars Milberg. PwC has given out this award since 2014.
