Tony Holmberg will assume his position as CEO of ICA Special in January. He has previously served among other things as Senior Vice President Sales and Operations at ICA Sverige with responsibility for business support to the ICA stores and country manager for ICA’s operations in Lithuania. Holmberg will be a member of ICA Gruppen’s Executive Management.
Björn Abild will take over as CEO of Hemtex at the start of 2016 and in connection with that will no longer be a member of ICA’s Executive Management. He succeeds Peder Larsson, who has decided to leave Hemtex following a successful turnaround of that company. Björn Abild will report to Tony Holmberg. Hemtex will continue to operate as a standalone company within ICA Gruppen.
At year-end Stein-Petter Ski will be leaving ICA Gruppen and his role as Senior Vice President Portfolio Companies following completion of the restructuring of the portfolio holdings that was decided on in 2013.
Hemtex and InkClub’s results will continue to be reported separately.
